We are pleased to announce the 2012 CLUB KEY project of A1 CLUB.

We've started with 11 founding members in 1998, since then our community has been accepted by many CW lovers worldeide, and the roster number is going to become over two thousand within this year.

Celebrating this we are going to release an original club key.

The special event station 8J1MORSE, that commemorates the 220th anniversary of the birth of Samuel Morse and the first successful Morse Code communication across the Atlantic Ocean by Guglielmo Marconi in 1901, will QRV from 1st Hune, 2011 till end of Nov 2011.

TheEvent: The A1 Club QSO Party. Participants may call CQ A1 PTY. This is an operating event, not a contest.

As you may know, we had a terrible quake in northern part of Japan on Friday afternoon last week.
After three days past, more than 2000 killed and more than 10000 missing up to now.
Also, the neuclear power plants located in Fukushima-pref. is getting serious situation.

Meaning of A1 Club Seal is explained HERE.
Japanese pronunciation of A1 CLUB is ei-wan ku-ra-bu.
Homophone Kanji-character for ei-wan ku-ra-bu is selected by Hiro, JA1HHF.
He selected Kanji-character carefully including profound meaning.

He said that CW enthusiasts gathered in our club have various talents on CW operation,
Someone runs Morsecode very fast by his sharp arm, and someone play Morsecode leisurely like a dancing spiral shell.

This figure is used as the back-ground image of the recent membership certificate.

Two Chinese characters written here is read from right-up to left-down "Den Shin" in Japanese pronunciation.

It means "to communicate heart (or mind)".

In same pronunciation but with another characters, there is another "Den Shin". That means "Telegraph" = CW.
